Facebook Creating Safety Advisory Board

I'd like to see Facebook make a young people's section and police it, with software to filter out certain words. Like it or not, a lot of parents are putting their teens and even younger children on there. I see it as a great way for kids to connect outside the classroom. But, without these safety protocols I'm sure this fine board can come up with, I would follow Facebook's recommendation of no under 18's. Soon, I hope they will make Facebook a kid-friendly place. I've learned a lot from the posts and links my friends put up all the time, and there is a plethora of science groups and other educational places that would be great for all ages! Facebook could take a leaf from National Novel Writing Month and let groups label themselves with a logo like NaNo's sun to indicate kid-friendly discussions. Young people and adults mix well on the forums there.
