Dannis' New Year's Resolution 2014

Dannis' New Year's Resolution 2014

I resolve to post more often on my blog and tell y'all what I'm working on. Here's what I posted to my Facebook Page:

I am working on updating my General Index, which is the file I use to generate an index for my books. I'm going cross-eyed! But I'm getting closer. Some headings don't look quite right, but I will get my act together. — feeling determined.

The Index Page...why does 0 have page numbers?

Home Is Not Home to be Split Into Two Parts

          Part 1: Adia and Ryonne~

          Part 2: War's Trials

I wanted to post a few more details: Home Is Not Home is really too thick to make a lasting     paperback book from, and the cost is prohibitive. I have split it into a Part 1: Adia and Ryonne~, and Part 2: War's Trials. I plan to put these up on Kindle at .99 apiece, and do CreateSpace editions, as well as hardcover. If CreateSpace hasn't added hardcover, I will do another Lulu hardcover of each part of Home Is Not Home. This all started because I wanted to send some friends reviewer copies and I ended up proofreading.

Both Parts Will Have A New Index

This is why I am making a new General Index to use on all the Home Is... Books in Parts.

New Covers Coming For All My Kindles

My latest new cover is for Trader's Gift

A Short-Short Story. Since my Short-Shorts are probably too short for Kindle, I will be pulling all of them off my shelves very soon, and they will be available under the title

                    Prude Reads: Stories for Families.

This title will bundle all of my G-rated stories. Short-short stories for short-short attention spans :)

These are five pages or less, except for my Home Is Not Home Part 1 tie-in,

Whatz In The Closet

about the Sehdlat, who only care
to speak to children when stranded in the very isolationist Eicken Spaceport.
Adia's little sister, Aronna, finds out what the cute invaders want
after she finds one hiding in her closet.

This cover is one of my hand-drawn ones, created in Paint with a mouse. I know, it's primitive, but it is very difficult for me
to build a 3D model of a Sehdlat, However, the plans are on the drawing board [or, would be if I had one!].

I am getting ambitious after a year of bad health, but I am having fun getting in book mode again :) Have a thoughtfu
Martin Luther King's Day
and think about your neighbors, please :)
